Annual Student Art Contest – April 5, 2025

Each School year, Protectors co-hosts an annual art contest for Clark County students where they learn about Nevada’s Pleistocene past, the fossil beds, and the flora and fauna that are found in these protected lands just north of the urban Las Vegas core, and use those lessons to create Tule Springs inspired art. The contest engages students’ interest in scientific concepts while simultaneously sparking their creativity. The result is amazing artwork created by our valley’s aspiring young artists. The 10th annual Student Art Contest is scheduled for April 5, 2025, which is being co-hosted by the newly opened Ice Age Fossils State Park. If you have questions or would like additional information about this event or other opportunities to support Protectors’ work in the community, please reach out to Desiré Schultz at desires@protectorsoftulesprings.org.
