At their regular Board meeting on Sunday, February 11, the Board of Directors of Protectors of Tule Springs voted to add an additional member to their executive team. Brenda Bowman will join the Board and will serve as Treasurer for the organization. Member Joel Casar has served as Interim Treasurer over the past year and the Board expressed gratitude for his service.
Brenda brings a wealth of accounting experience to the Board, including 11 years in various accounting roles at Hobart Corporation and then 17 years serving as Secretary/Treasurer for the business she owned with her husband. She also has experience first as Secretary and then President of a ladies’ golf group in Northern California, where she oversaw fundraising activities. She retired in 2001 and relocated to North Las Vegas in 2012. She has been an active member of Protectors since that time, supporting the Treasurer position.
“I’m excited to expand my role with the Protectors,” said Brenda. “This is a critical time for us, as we increase fundraising efforts on behalf of the Monument, and I’m looking forward to using my skills to help further our mission.”
Joel Casar, Kori Kloberdanz, Stan Nudelman and Dawn Reynoso were also re-appointed for another two-year term.
